"Dead Power Supply??"

Is there a good way to test a power supply?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks.

that may be what you're looking for. They're available online and at retail stores such as CompUSA.

Click here to see the instructions for using Antec's ATX tester.

EDIT: By the way, this would be better posted in The Computer Forum. It's definitely not off-topic.

I know about the error. I just apologized to Shelly. I might as well do it again. I'm sorry.

Thanks for the reply.

You are in the wrong forum. Computer help questions should be posted in the Computer forum, not the OT lounge.

Shelly,

I realize that now. I just posted this on the correct one. Please excuse the mental error. I thought I posted it on the Computer Forum. I was looking for the post there and couldn't find it. I'm still not used to the three forums.

Thanks for the reply.
