"Comfort Zone"

I just to say how COMFORTABLE it is to come here to PC Q&A...I didn't
realize how much I enjoyed PC911, and now PC Q&A until there was a danger of losing it. Now, I find myself coming here and checking in
half a dozen times a day (more?) just to see what's going on...(Marvin
Gaye, rest his soul...I saw him right before he died.) Anyway, this is nice...thanks again to all who worked so hard making it happen.

When I say I'm here "half a dozen times a day"...that's because
I'm on dial-up. I guess if I had DSL or cable I'd be here a lot
more.

I'm on dialup. I loggon in the a.m. and stay on all day. Of course I'm not in front of it all day but I take breaks more often, that's for sure. I just managed to rescue last night supper from being scourched because I had to leave the screen for something else. It's a definate distraction. }>

I use to have cable internet when I got my PC for the first time. I didn't know how bad dial up was because I never used the internet before. Now that I'm forced to use dial up due to my location, I really miss the cable. I never knew how good I had it before.

>> boy talk about spoiling you...cable <<

Ahh ....well, for me, the only taste of cable was at the local library. Guess I'm leading a sheltered life. Oh well you don't miss what you didn't have in the first place. 'Cept, once upon a time, not to far away I was able to get 44k. Don't do much d/l ing anymore.

Edit:

webcrawler's still around
