That was funny Obwon, I did not see the avatar so went to 'Properties' and put it on my screen. Came back here and there was the avatar. Looks good. Pity it does not show as high as the original

Derek.

I am stumped. When I hit refresh all I get is a red X but if I hit my back button and then forward, it appears! Anyone have any ideas? John

John as I said in my other post, it looked good at full height. Perhaps that is your problem. Avatars are required to be 48x48 or less so you might try reducing it to those dimensions.

Derek.

That's true. The avatar I just put up I had to resize twice with Paint shop pro before I got something besides that red X........

will a .PTP file work for an avatar? try changing it to a .gif or .jpg file and see what happens...also can it be linked to at that site?

copy the file to your hard drive and convert it to a .jpg then upload as attachment and be sure to check the box for jpg. if its too big it wont load i think its a 50kb limit.I dont think you can link to that site and i dont see any option for loading a ptp to the forum...it came up as miising.

Thank You everyone. I did not pay attention to the click here to upload your file. Now I have to figure out how to post pictures on ebay. My son has a pair of snowboard boots he wants me to sell.
Again, thank you, John
