218151, Time Zone Not Accurate

I have my time zone selected correctly and have to auto adjust for daylight savings time and time stamp on posting is still off 1 hour? Is this a bug? Thanks.

It's probably a bug. (Actually, the forum script is so old that, believe it or not, daylight savings time didn't exist when it was written, and some say there were no time zones either. :+ :+ )

To get the time right I use the Venezuela/Caracas (-4) time zone to correctly display the Eastern Time zone - at least during Daylight savings times.

We both could live in Canada - the Atlantic time zone is also -4.

On my keyboard the "Up" arrow is a whole half inch additional stretch to reach compared to the "Down" arrow - so I scrolled down instead of up - and ended up in South America.

Feel free to emigrate Venezuela for Canada, if you prefer.

Jim.
