"System has started to access my Floppy drive in the middle of a program."

When I am using my system in the middle of a program, usually a game such as UT, the system trys to read my floppy drive and the system starts to stop and then restarts.

I don't know if this is the same but when I opened a dwg document with Autocad from a floppy, each time I opened or closed Autocad, it would access it. What I did is did a search in regedit for "a:\" (without the quotes) and whatever I found, deleted. Give that a try to see if it works. I never heard of it happenning in a game though. It is safe since there can't be any important paths that go the A:\ since any floppy can be in there if it was the case of looking for system files. But to make the search faster, don't do it in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
