I connect to the internet via a broadband cable connnection with an external modem through a PMCIA Network Card. At present the only way to check my connection speed is to ring up my Service Provider and ask them to check for me!!! Is their a way/program that will monitor my connection and tell me what speed its connected at without having to phone the company? (bit like the connection monitor you get with dial-up service which tells you what speed you connected at, data sent and data received e.t.c)! I run win XP Pro?
Thanks

You can download monitors from the Downloads section of this web site, just go to the Downloads link at the top of this page.
Windows XP Pro (not sure about the Home version) has Status monitors for each network connection on the computer. Right click the connection in the Control Panel and click on Status. Kinda handy.
