"A couple of questions"

1. Is there a way I can change the appearance of the Task Bar, such as color and stuff? I've heard of a program called WindowBlinds that may help me. Any idea's?

2. RAM! Is there a limit to how much RAM I can dump into my 'puter? I've already got 160mbs. I was thinking about taking the 32mb stick out and replacing it with a 512 stick, if I can find one.

There may be limits imposed by:
• your operating system
• your motherboard spec -- either per memory slot, or in total amount

Crawling out of my safe zone for a minute on this one but i have to say i have used Windowblinds and i liked the new look.

But it did make me a bit nervous. It seems that 98se at least is a bit finicky at times when it comes to shell modification and i was a bit afraid of screwing up my windows displays all together.

But never really had any trouble.

Post back if you decide to use it and let me know how it goes for you.

I've used WindowBlinds too and liked it. In the end, though, the modified look just wasn't worth the memory hit for me and I disabled it. Your milage may vary, but it's defitely worth trying out.

I too have used WindowBlinds. It works nicely, but everytime I put a new theme, I don't seem totally satisfied with it (They are nice, but I guess i'm fine with the default look). It might work for you though.

RAM, just like PsychoLogical said is dependant on your motherboard. The manual? should tell you, or you could look online.

As far as the memory question,go to the crucial ad at the top of this page and go there and dial in your specs, and they will give you the info you need.

I doubt that a computer that has a stick of 32MB is using RDRAM.

Questions like this can't be accurately answered without knowing the details of the computer, and OS being used.

If you're running 98, there is a potential problem with more than 512mb.
