"OE fonts"

i'm trying to change the default font in OE6 but can't. i go to options > compose and set it to tempus sans and set the size and set the stationary and every time i hit create mail everything comes up right except the font style. i've tried setting it to other styles but to no avail. it's stuck on comic sans and will not load as default anything else. i can change it when i'm composing tho.

If you aren't already doing so, log in as Administrator (or the Admin log in, whoever that is if it's WinXP Home Edition), make sure no mail messages are open and then change the font settings only and OK out completely, then close down OE.   Then launch OE again to make any desired changes to Stationery the same way.   Then, if needed, log in as your user and if the settings you made as Admin didn't apply globally, make the exact same changes again, in the same order.   Don't know if that'll do it, but it's all I could think of.

OH! found the prob. i had forgotten that when you create a stationary that you specify what font to use. at the time i formated that stationary i did not have tempus installed and used comic instead. thanks for the help. guess i should have kept digging before asking..
