"JAVA Help"

I am trying to figure out whhat is wrong with my java settings. I have tried everything. I d'loaded Microsoft Virtual Machine and another java application (can't remember the name) from java.com. I have tried arranging my settings from high to low, but still no luck. The problem is, when I go to a java page, everything is extremely slow and gets slower the longer I stay on the page, until it finally freezes up completely. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm about to pull my hair out o me head!
thx

Welcome to the forum!

You didn't mention what versions of what Java VM's you have installed, or what version of Windows you have and what browser you use.

If you are using IE, go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and scroll down to the Java section. Make sure that java is enabled.
