Hello.

I am using it with FX5200. No problems.

But please note that I am not a gamer, if that's what you are curious about.

Regards

Have you tried playing a video in WMP? The gamma and color levels are screwed for some.

Yes I have tried these Drivers I "had" a XFX Geforce 6600 GT (which was broke eg Tons of Artifacting) The drivers themselves worked great. For my POS card they worked WAY!!!! Better than the 77.76 version. But the Video playback is all F'ed up for some reason I would go with some modified drivers like theOmegas or DHzer0point. Both run better in game trail than the original nvidias. (anywhere from 5-20FPS) The quality is either the same or better depending on how you set them.

OK, thanks all. I will post back. I may try them as my main game is the flight simulator, and I rarely play videos on my machine..

There's just been a thread at BBF relevant to your question. We know of at least one problem corrected by the 77.77 drivers

Thanks Grogan,
that was right on..
I have installed the 77.77s onto my 6600gt and can report no problems playing DVDs or anywhere else..Image quality and performance in MS Flight Sim 2004 is very good, but will have to play a bit with some more airplanes before I can tell how much, if any improvement is there..On a cursory look, I think there is some improvement on the ground.

Well ... I did call it a problem, and I don't know if it was the 'older' nVidia drivers or not, but the solution was ... "Use High Qality mode" in WMP

Oh, and no problems with the latest on an FX5600

Hi there..
I have a NVIDIA 6800 and installed an extreme driver.(77.77??) At first my image was pretty crappy also.Really washed out and looking extremely contrasty.

One thing you have to do..is make sure that when you bring up your NVIDIA settings window, you have checked..."apply color changes to all". That is located at the top right corner..just down a bit. On mine it gives three options to choose from under "apply color changes to". They are: All,Desktop, and Overlay. When I chose ALL on mine..instead of desktop...things then looked fine. At first even video's looked awful...but choosing the ALL setting clears it up. Oh, and the performance is simply GREAT with the new drivers. Image is still very good to. You all have a good one.
