"ISO file extractor utility"

Anybody know of a freeware ISO buster type utility? I've downloaded the THREEdamGIGABYTES Vista beta, but I don't have a DVD burner. I'd like to try and extract the files from the ISO and copy them to a hard drive, if possible.

Use IsoBuster.

Thanks, I do have the "free" edition, it won't do that without paying and registering. I did find this:

http://dotnetjunkies.com/WebLog/donnymack/archive/2004/02/09/6883.aspx

which seems to apparently mount the image ok, but the image just may be corrupt. setup, for example, gives a "corrupt" error

Alright, I've tried several ISO utilities, all seem to "agree" that the ISO image I have is corrupt. For example, while I can "see" the setup.exe file, it shows as being corrupt.

So, how do I re-download the huge darn big file? Microshaft says I've "gotten the maximum number of keys"

I don't want another key, I just want the file.

You may want to try this out. I'm using VMware and I installed Vista directly off the .iso file. It's running great. A free beta version that's yours to keep is available here.

The md5sum, & locations to find md5sum utilities, were posted in this thread ...

You should be able to compare your download to that to see if it is corrupted or not.

OK, I already know it's corrupt, the question now is, how do I redownload the thing? I can't find any way around the "you've received the maximum number of product keys" deal

Thanks for all the suggestions so far. The goal here is to get an installable product off a spare hard drive. I actually only have one DVD reader, and no burner. I'm not planning on buying more at this time. I simply don't have other needs for one.

The link above also has a link to the direct links to download (without "registering" for another product key).

The actual (direct) download links can be gotten from this page:

Thanks, "the rube" I re-downloaded from that link, but several of the ISO viewer/extracter utilities won't allow me to open setup.exe. There's something wrong, I'll wait for the DVD. Just trying to get around a few obstacles
