"changing dns server"

W10, all updates. I've seen a few "tips" on speeding up the internet. Any real benefit to the "changing the dns server" one? I tried a few of the alternates, and notice no differences.

You can't make chicken soup out of... .

Unless your DNS server is particularly slow, you may not notice any difference with a "faster" one.

I imagine there are sites out there that "benchmark" latency or whatnot for different DNS servers. And as changing servers is relatively straight forward & trouble-free... Try it. And if it works better for you, try it some more. And if it doesn't, & you're happy with whatever your ISP provides, just stick with that.

Thanx. I really see no differences.
