"Windows 10 update 2004"

Windows 10 v2004 has now tried to install 3 times and failed, giving precious little indication as to why.

I am stuck at v1909.

Where do I go from here?

I understand there is yet another update (20H2) lined up behind 2004.

What are your computer specs? No error code at all?

I have been told elsewhere that I need a minimum of 32gb free space for updates to work. My C drive (standalone SSD) was showing (wait for it!) 31.99gb.
I have freed up space and we'll see what happens next time around.

I haven't watched an update and only discovered the failures by accident. No error messages.

Paul,

Perhaps you can find a work around from Fred Langa writing for "Ask Woody". Checkout Susan Bradley's fix using a USB hard drive.
