"Drop Down Menues"

Recently I have been unable to use any drop down menu from any site. The mouse click activates the menu and then it disappears. I have had this problem on multiple sites so I figure it must be on my machine. I am running Win 10 the 2021 version.
i also find when I open a page that has more than the single page information, the right scroll bar will not move. I just tried it on this site and it worked fine but when I opened the Win System tab and tried to look at the M/S version I could not go down the page.
Very frustrating.

Regards,

Web browser?
Which?
Does it have a "Safe Mode"? Test in there.

How?
Arrow keys? Page keys? Mousewheel? Mouse & click? Mouse & scrollbar arrow?

Wired or wireless mouse? Battery low?

Try a different mouse.

Thanks for the reply with the questions. The first one as to the web browser, it was EDGE and that is the culprit. When I switched to Chrome all the problems went away. Rather than investigate the reason and solution, I'll just use Chrome and be done with it.

Thanks again,

Seeing Edge is now based on the Chromium engine, I'd be checking your settings rather than just throwing Edge away.
