We survived the hurricane with minimal damage, a few shingles blew off the roof, but the roof stayed on thank goodness. The other damage is our TV antenna, snapped in half.. One of our trees, the Meyer lemon was partially up rooted but we have replanted and staked it to hopefully it will re root itself. My Plumeria was done the same way. Our yard is still draining water out of it onto the road due to all the rain from the storm and the afternoon thunderstorms caused by our high temperatures. Good to see you posting! It was the worst storm I have. seem in the thirty years I have lived in the house. I just wish the city would pick up all the storm debris piled up and killing my front lawn.
You should see all the debris along the roadsides here in Lakeland. Some of the biggest trees were up rooted and broken off. We never lost our power for except for about 5 minutes and then it came back on and stayed on. We did lose our internet connection for about 4 days.
