"Cleaned out on webcams"

Boy...I never, ever, used a webcam. A week ago relatives surprised us with an invitation link needing a webcam, so I used my little macair. boy did the battery and processor get hot. I then ordered from logitech a good webcam...I think 922. Is it great. Went looking today for one for my pc and nadda. They been flying off the shelves for 2 weeks now.

I watched a few YouTube videos. Some Macs run at or near max temp and thermally throttle if doing much of any kind of work, decreasing performance. Some just change the thermal paste on the processor and it helps. Also, I think I saw it mentioned that some models don't have the best webcams.

I had a neighbor that had a MacBook pro that he had me help get, but he moved. I installed Macos Catalina on a 17" Toshiba laptop, doesn't work too bad. Easier to talk him through stuff when I can see it working. Neighbor's webcam works ok I guess.
