Hi there,

Recently I tried to update my PC to Windows 10 everything was fine but suddenly an error occurs Windows update error 0x8024a105 access denied.

I don't know what does this means as I'm not an expert in tech stuff so please don't through rocks on me I believe it's not as hard to be solved.

I have googled it and found switching your connection will solve this issue but it doesn't work, Should I have to contact Microsoft Support?

Please look into this and help me to solve this issue.

Thanks for the reply back Jbmcmillan, as your screen name. But I got it solved by using the step#1 and #4 as mentioned here https://techloris.com/windows10-update-error-code-0x8024a105/

I owned Asus fx504GM and I had the same problem before on one of my other model Dell Inspiron but in that case, simply restarting the PC and changing the Internet connection helped me, and I was able to download and install the windows updates successfully.

Can you tell us how far back your previous update was. Or...patch Tuesday is tomorrow. Was this from just one month ago? etc...

This exchange is probably one person or bot to get clicks. Don't worry about a non existent problem.
