I tried responding to someone on here just now about the Jan 9 updates causing issues as my 2 week old Dell started acting up at that time. I went thru Dell connect who fixed it and said registry issue with last update. But this is what I get when i tried to respond. Also when i try to go to some sites, i get the the site is not here,,, message. Like pcpitstop.com.. I have never had this issue before. What is blocking things?? Dell 15 5000 Win 10, bought Jan 3.

Chrome and IE 11. I am only using windows defender. I have used Avast for years, but i keep reading defender is all i need so i decided to go with it on my new PC.

Go to Control Panel and open Internet Options. In Internet Options click on the Advanced tab, near the bottom in the section for Reset Internet Explorer settings, click the Reset button. On the following dialog window you can leave the box for Delete Personal Settings unchecked, click the Reset button. When that is done, close any remaining windows and reboot the computer. Then try IE again.
Behind every good computer... is a jumble of wires 'n stuff.

You may have already done this but if not try deleting your PCQandA cookie(s) and then re-logging into the forum. Also, try using https://www.pcqanda.com as Jason switched to a secure link awhile back. It shouldn't make a difference, but who knows.
If using a link from your Favorites, either remove it,, or edit it to reflect the https://

Thats the issue- it is not just your site, it is pcpitstop and a few others. Something is just not right. I am awaiting dell to get back to me as I was to email after 2 days and today is the day.

Just to let you know, I fixed all current issues. I reset the pc and it is fine. I do not know what Dell connect did when they "fixed" it by remote , but it sure messed it up! Thanks
