"Newly Built PC Freezes after several hours of Use"

After the computer is being used for several hours it freezes up. This requires a reboot. Any suggestions what I should look for. Windows 10

Thanks in advance

Open the case and blow a strong fan on the motherboard to see if it is heat related. With all the problems you have had I think I would avoid that Motherboard Manufacturer.

I ran a memory check. No problems were found. I guess for the time being, I can live with one freeze a day.

Have you run a system file check yet? If there are any system file problems a reinstall from within windows with the latest Win 10 DVD will repair them.

Use an available app like cpuid to monitor case and cpu temperatures.

Thanks to all for your informative replies. I will try all suggestions. In addition, I will run a memory test from a Linux DVD. Also, I will try running one memory stick at a time. The problem is that the computer can run for hours without freezing, making it more difficult to detect the problem.

Agreed that temperature check is needed. I use CoreTemp.

I installed Core Temp.

I got the following CPU temperature reading.

minimum 27C
maximum 36C

I am ashamed to say that there is a possibility that my problem was coming from a defective mouse. I changed the mouse. Time will tell. Soon I will do the other tests suggested by the learned forum members.

If anything, those temps are suspiciously low.

If those are accurate temps, then heat is not your problem, unless there is a temperature spike you're not seeing.
