Me & the Kitties made it on over. New forum feels just like the old place. Thanks Jason, Shelly, and everyone who was responsible.

I agree, this feels very much like home. Very comforting. Has the good old feel of the old forum mixed up with some new goodies like the OT and UD forums added. Its all just so sweet.
Yeeee haaaa!

Thanks Lucy....I mean Marti.

My wife and I had no kids, we rescued wayward cats and kittens. Had fourteen at one time. A mommy and her gang of five were left along the road.
We have only three now...two of the original gang of five born in 1986, all they do now is eat, sleep and go potty. When someone says old dode I never really know which of us are it....

Had a huge patio covered and enclosed with green sunscreen plastic webbing and small log rails running around everywhere for kitties with plants and stuff for them to chew on...

Seems something missing now they're all gone......like kids

Jason is also becoming a parrot person thanks to my cockatoo Moose. They're bonding with each other since we're inheriting him when we get a house.

Speaking of animals, whatever came of those noises in the walls that Beth and Jason were having trouble with last year?

LOL - It's funny you mention it. Jason and I were talking about it the other night. We still don't know exactly what it was in the wall. One day we just stopped hearing the noise. This seemed to happen as the temperature got warmer. Hopefully we don't start hearing anything again with the change of season. If it does start up again, the apartment complex will quickly hear about it.

Hi, Laurie. I love animal people. We have lots of good company here.

Gosh, a few years ago, a scratching noise woke me up while in bed. I got up and tried to determine where it came from. I went outside and looked at the tree nearest the roof, thinking it may have been branches. Went back to bed, all was quiet. In a while, the scratching returned. I finally narrowed it down to a spot in the wall. I would tap and scratching would occur. I knew it had to be an animal. I've done a lot of animal rescue but this was a new one. Went in the garage and got the jigsaw and started cutting into the wall. I started with little pieces a small distance from the noise. I'd cut and pull off drywall and peek in. At last I saw something move. I thought it was a squirrel. When I was able to reach in and pull it out, I got a bird! He was exhausted and covered with drywall dust. Took him out and put him on a tree limb and, after a few minutes rest, off he flew. When my sweetie arrived home I told him I have good news and bad news. He opted for the good first. Told him I'd rescued a bird. He thought that was great. Then I told him it had been in the bedroom wall which now had an enormous hole in it. He wasn't quite as pleased about that! I smoothed it all over by telling him that if I'd used a professional critter service they would have done the same thing and charged a hundred bucks. This made him happier.

I couldn't send messages for the last week of PC911. It's nice being back in working order.
Should'n all of the transfered members be "charter members" now?
