The UD icon is gone from my task bar.It was there yesterday and I was able to check the status when UD got back up and was running.The system shows that it is running now but with the icon gone, how do I see what it is doing?How do I get the icon back? Thank you.

This has happened to me once or twice, try hitting the start button go to UD click it and it should go back when you minimise.......unless someone knows different???

It is listed under Start/Programs/United Devices,then just click on it and it should return ,Tuff

When I booted up at 5AM pacific time No icon.
Booted up after golf no icon.Clicked on the program got A version of this is running message.Asked question in Forum.
Wife and I went to lunch.
Back from lunch and decided to check the Forum for the help I was sure would be there.
Booted up the machine and there was the Icon back on my task bar!!!
From now on if it involves the UD program I will wait a day or two before I ask for help.
Went to Forum and sure enough, as is always the case,

That is a known issue with UD. On some reboots the icon is there and all is normal while on other reboots the program starts and runs but the icon in the taskbar is not present. The only way to get it back that I know of is to either shut down UD in the Task Manager using "end process" and then go to Start>programs>UD and restart it or reboot and hope it comes back. Hopefully in time they will cure that gremlin but in the meantime..............

What I've been doing for quite some time now is have UD Monitor startup when the computer is booted (via Startup folder) and deleted the shortcut for UD from the startup folder. This way UDMon starts up first and automatically launches UD. UD is in my tray everytime.
