"TCP Error: Not enough memory"

Hi, I have Windows 98 SE. I have DSL with an Alcatel Speed Touch USB modem. I can get on line and after surfing the web I will get an error massage. "TCP Error: Not enough memory" Then I will have to restart my computer to get back on line again. I have 256 mb of ram and when I check my system resources I have 73-78% free. I have Zone Alarm and Norton System Works and I am using Netscape 4.79. Could anyone please tell me what is causing this error and how to fix it.
Thank you,
Kathy

Have you had this happen before or was it after you installed one of the three programs?

I reformatted my computer and put Windows 98 SE back on it. I had upgraded to Windows Me and didn't like Me. I installed all three of them about a month and a half ago and all worked fine. About a week ago. I started to get the error message.
Thanks for your help.
Kathy

Those three programs really eat up resourses. This can cause that error message to happen. Shut down system works from your task bar and see if that helps. Just use it when you need to and see if that helps. Good luck

The problem is. My resourses aren't low at all they are always 73% to 85% free when this error occurs. Could it be a problem with my modem or Netscape?
Thanks

Ok Thanks,
It doesn't happen everytime I am on line, so when it happens I will try and get on line with Explorer. Thanks again for your help.

I used to get that same message as I see a lot of others are as well and that is why I went to IE.

To me, IE seems a lot slower.

Any version of IE above 5.0 is faster.
