"Need AOL Help! Toni?"

Re:setting for auto opening of graphics(Your previous answer)
Hi Toni,I have a friend who has the same problem and I sent your answer to him.His reply was that "he could not find the AOL toolbar" and asked if I could send him a picture of what it looked like.I sent him other tool bar screen shots but he still can't seem to get it.He's even older than I.Can you send me a screen shot of the AOL toolbar to send to him.He says he likes AOL and has a lot of mail with pictures.I tried telling him how to open them in other programs but he "wants them to open like they used to" before he had AOL.I'd appreciate any help. Thanks

Looks like there aren't any takers. I still keep an old AOL account for my daughter's use as one of her online whatevers needs that ID but we just access from the web and don't have any AOL SW on the PCs. We obviously don't see any of the specialized junk.

Thanks for the reply. The old gent is frustrated but he refuses to give up his AOL.I told him he could save bucks and get everything he has now by changing and he won't budge.I will give up trying to get it from PCQ&A and contact some of the folks who contact me via AOL. I am surprised. This is the first time that I failed to get a fix from here since i joined and is probably the simplest one I have asked for

Ok, up at the top, where it has Settings, they need to click there. From the drop down menu they need to click on Preferences, and then make sure these things are ticked:

Good luck, I don't have any problem seeing graphics by using these settings. I don't think there is any difference what version of AOL they are using, I have used them all - just prefer to use version 6.0 personally.
