"Full Gig of DDR memory for only $133 and change??"
Wed Feb-02-05 03:30 AM by _Chewy_

I've never seen such a low price on Corsair memory for a full gig. Helluva good deal if you ask me.

Corsair Value Select (Dual Pack)
2 Modules of 512MB DDR PC-3200 - OEM.

Now I understand why considering how long you've been a member here - pre-PC911 days - no one has ever made you moderator here.

Ever since the whole thread on my query about the mouse pointer, you have started this pitty little war which proves nothing but that you're a lonely old man who gets his rocks off trying to antagonize people. Before that thread began - I never insulted/ threatened you - and yet you seem to take a childish pleasure in making these inane comments only to what sort of a response you'll get. Well now you've had your little fun and it's time to act your age. I should have taken the high road sooner by not responding to your posts. But now I'm putting my foot down and you can insult/flame me all you want shitty ass Joe. I've had enough of your kindergarten antics. I no longer have the patience nor time to respond to your pathetic posts.

Judging by your recent posts, it's plainly obvious your childish behavior is indicative of what a small measure of a man you really must feel inside that you need to go around mocking/ antagonizing me when i've given you no reason to.

Chewy, you have made three posts on items that have already expired according to the adds.
How can that benefit anyone when the sale is over. I'll leave you alone and let you continue to post items that are dead

I'll see you on that one Chewey and raise ya.

How about a GB for $117.99?...and it's a single stick.
http://www.hardcorecooling.us/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=980

The memory in the ad does NOT have the copper heatsink but it is actually OCZ memory which carries the OCZ lifetime warranty.

He's got AS5 for $5.99 w/free shipping. He was the guy that started that price war about 5 months ago.

I've used the supplier before and he's very good.

There is continued downward pressure on memory prices in all markets.

Global DRAM Pricing Report
Online staff -- 2/2/2005
Electronic News

North America

U.S. DRAM markets appeared mostly under marginal pressure heading into midweek, as buyer reluctance continued to inhibit activity. Spot chip values dipped 5 cents to 10 cents per chip, as indications of adequate supply and sluggish overseas markets placed downward pressure on U.S. DRAM levels. Spot module price indications were also seen steady to weaker, with sellers forced to lower their ideas moderately in the face of lackluster demand.

Asia/Pacific

Prices of first-tier DDR 400 32x8 types were cut by 5 cents/chip for the third consecutive time this week to $3.75/chip as sluggish demand intensifies ahead of the Lunar New Year holidays on February 9. Prices of other DDR components, however, remained stable.

Europe

Wednesday trading was quiet and no deals were reported. Traders complained of no buying interest, for which little explanation was provided. Nevertheless, prices remained stable. Supplies were again described as tight.

Bull. You know he deserved every bit of it and more. You should see me when i'm really pissed - that post was nothing. The only thing that blinds you to his childish behavior is your friendship.

As a friend of LJ, i would expect for you to come to his defense. However the problem i have with your post is that you seem to have politely ignored all his assinine comments which were only designed to egg on a response from me ever since I posted that thread on my mouse pointer query. I have an exact memory for these kinds of things Shelly - I will debate you on this tooth and nail. Shall I dig up his past comments for you? Of course i'm sure you'll find a way to justify it and say they were harmless.

No, you won't debate me because I don't give a damn. I saw you post a special that had expired the day before your post, and Lou pointed it out. End of story.

You obviously don't know me very well, if someone is wrong I will point it out, and friendship has nothing to do with it. Ask Al and some others I've known even longer than Lou.

I may not know you as close as Lou or others here, but I'm smart enough to observe a few things about you. In my observation, anytime anyone challenges your authority or position, you're quick to say you don't "give a damn" or rats "tinkerbell".

I also know that you're beginning to develop a habit of not listening to people and hearing only what you want to hear.

If you had actually bothered to see the screenshot I made of my purchase on Newegg's website of the Thermalake PSU - I pointed out the sale was still in effect despite the website's claim that the sale had ended.

There's a thread where I posted a problem w/ my USB keyboard and mouse and you kept repeating the same thing despite me telling you that I had the HID properly listed in the device manager. I had to post a screenshot of my DM to finally convince you.

You're a pathetic child if you think i feel sorry for you because you lost 5 mins of your pathetic life in reading the thread.

No one asked you to read the thread in entirety - but like a childish kid w/ a big mouth - you just had to throw in your worthless two cents....

With less than 15 posts to you name - i'm sure you've really been around this board long enough to be a respected member. You're a newbie here Eqbard, if i were you i'd keep your mouth shut and observe a few things before you begin to spout off at the mouth. Unless of course you want to keep showing off your eloquent skills and tell us how wise & smart you are.

And where was your so-called "impartial" moderating skills on this thread Shelly? Certainly if you claim that you're not blinded by your friendship with Lou - then logic would stand that you as the leading moderator, would have jumped in on this thread and told Lou that his comment was uncalled for. And you still think you have a leg to stand on Sheldon?

Chewy has been here a long time and he helps lots of people. From what I have seen, he usually strives to be professional in his posts.

Personally, I would never let anything Shelly or Lil Joe said get under my skin or I would have been gone long ago. And yes, I think you came down a bit hard on Lil Joe Chewy in post # 2. He didn't deserve that, and he exercised considerable self control in his response to your post.

But I think probably you have earned the right to blow off some steam once in a while without some guy who's been here one lousy week dumping on you.

Let's get over it.... just my $0.02

You're full of shit today aren't you? I don't come here to earn your respect - if you think that highly of yourself, your lost. Nor did i ever make a statement saying I've earned my respect around here. The peole that I care about and like on this board already know that.

Instead of logically refuting of the points I've made thus far, you've simply run off at the mouth like diahhrea.

Yoiu want to come to the defense of Lil Joe and Shelly - back it up by refuting the points I've made with clarity and succintness. Perhaps that's too hard for your puny brain to understand fully what that means. I see your rationale and logic is about as good as your computer knowledge here. But I do love how you're so "handy".

Come on guys! This is a great site that was designed to connect people with a common interest; computers. I have been a member for quite a while and have come to depend on it for answers that I could not get from anyplace else. I look upon the people that run this site and those that help me as friends. As with any friends there will be misunderstandings but also as with friends these misunderstandings should be soon forgotten. So let's forget this one and get back to doing what this site does best; allow friends to help friends. Sometimes counting to ten is not enough to calm down, hell, sometimes I have to count to almost a million but the important part is that I count. I had a brother that was murdered and it took me 10 years and a helluva lot of counting to get the hate out but I made it. If I can do it anyone can. So count until you feel better and then lets all be friends again and get back to answering questions for those of us that are not so smart.

>do love how you're so "handy".
Whatever asshole you come off as the most pompous ass I have ever had the displeasure to read/meet.You are the one that thinks highly of themselves.I don't care to refute whether you have a point about Shelly or Lil Joe and I don't care. The point is you are making alot of crap about nothing this is the internet not your friggin livingroom.I don't think anyone cares about whether you got your toes stepped on or not.I was being polite before and you resort to little kid insults lol.I am stepping out here as this is not the place for this crap which is the point I made.I live in Langley,B.C. if you ever want to discuss this farther. The alert function and pm's are there for a reason, use it and if you don't get satisfaction that route you have the choice of leaving or stfu.
