""Find" Keeps Messing Up My Posts."

Every now and then, the Find function in Windows XP Pro will pop up, uninvited, when I attempt to post here and elsewhere. Each keystroke will bring it up so that it makes entering text virtually impossible. It only quits doing this if I close Firefox and then reopen it. Is there a fix for this?

Certainly. INTERNET EXPLORER.

Sorry, couldn't resist after all the times I've seen other browsers suggested as a fix for IE.

I have had something similar happen - but in Win98. Never in XP. And this was not browser related.
As if the Windows key was stuck.
Typing an 'E' would open Windows Explorer.
Typing an 'F' would open Find ...

Does the same thing ever happen in IE (not that you would ever use that )?

If you create a new Profile in FF, does it continue to happen?
My thought is that if it is FF related, it is being caused by an extension.
(Actually, I think FF has a "Safe Mode", enabling running without extensions?)

I've tried to find how to create a profile in FF and am stumped. How's that done? I just removed the 'Autoform' extension, maybe that will help. So far it hasn't happened again, but, that's only a little while.

"How do I access the Profile Manager?"

In Mozilla, you can create, delete, or switch Profiles all from within the program itself. Or from the start menu.
Tools | Switch Profile

FF is different in that respect, as it doesn't off the same interface.
