"MS security problem?"

I have my system set for automatic updates.I just ran the Belarc program and get these update shown as not installed. How do I fix this situation? How could this happen with auto update

These required security hotfixes (using the 10/11/2005 Microsoft Security Bulletin Summary) were not found installed. Note: CIS benchmarks require that Critical and Important severity security hotfixes must be installed.

I always update manually from the Windows Update site, can you do that? I think that it will inform you of any that you don't have installed and offer to install them.

If they were downloaded they should still be on your computer waiting to be installed. If you run Windows Update again they would show up as available with 0 time to download (since they are already downloaded) and offer to install them now.

Also check the Download History in Windows update, to see if they are really not installed. It may be a false report in Belarc, if they once failed to install and later did install.
