Your link leads to the download from an Oregon State University server. I checked other sites that carry Firefox, and they all have the 1.5.0.1 version.
When I check for updates, I get a pop up that tells me that my 1.5.0.1 is the most current version.

In the computer world, there’s a right way, a wrong way, and the Mac way. The Mac way is essentially the same as the wrong way, except it’s much faster and on a much larger scale.
Why is the zip installer file almost 2GB larger than the standard installer?

I am unable to find a new update via the tools/extensions I have. Also have not seen posts on it the Mozilla form at DSLReports. Those guys talk about FF updates before they hit the streets.
Code Freeze for 1.5.0.2 is this Monday - Feb 20. This freeze will allow enough time for bug verification, release engineering, and public testing to ship the update in early April. This includes both Firefox and Thunderbird as we will be releasing a TBird 1.5.0.2/FF 1.5.0.2 from the same codebase.
Maybe this is the "public testing" mentioned in quote.
I like to confirm that there are no problems with my favorite extenseions before upgrading.
I know that firefox now checks the compatiability of extensions before installing but there are a few I just don't want to be without. They are popular and well supported so I know they would be upgraded soon if there is a problem.
