" ebay posting to sell issues"

I cleaned out my sisters pc this weekend. I used Black vipers win xp service configuration suggestions , as i do on mine. I also uninstalled IE7 beta , as it made her pc slower then... as previously discussed. Other then that , i simply used disk clean, defraged, ran pc pitstop and it ran alot better. She tried to post on ebay to sell, and for 2 days has not been able to access it far enough to post - gets to the last part and it goes back to her first page, over and over. She called ebay and they told her to empty her cache, which she did , and then said it may be something with her firewall. She runs sp2 and uses windows firewall, avast antivirus. ALl are in working order and up to date. Does not have 2 firewalls or AV's installed or running. Is there a setting I messed up in the services that might cause this? I use the same settings and just tried to post and went thru the whole thing with no problem. Ebay says they are not having any issues , right now. Thanks

Could be cookies. I had my browser set to deny cookies from ebay related sites. That was not a problem to me, but I had a friend visiting back in January; she was unable to access some part of ebay.

There may be a corrupt cookie. Have her try deleting all cookies. This will probably cause her to have to reset personal preferences on some websites.

Behind every good computer... is a jumble of wires 'n stuff.

If using IE, check to see if any parts of eBay are listed in the restricted users area.

Well, whatever it was , it has gone away! Thanks. She did all of the things you guys said, with no results, but she is fine now and selling! Of course Ebay will NEVER say they had a problem.

I'd look at differences in the browser setup.

JavaScript may be necessary?
Or if you're running IE, perhaps ActiveX?
