"OT: Human Biology help... sort of!"

Alright here is the problem. I need to create 15 things out of food.

They can be about anything in or on the human body (no sexual body parts). Now this could mean have bloodcells be jelly donuts, or put together cookies and twizzlers to make a neuron.

But I need something easier. I need something that I can go in my cabinet and most likely find. I need something that if I must buy it, it won't be expensive at all. Any ideas?????

Have you tried looking at some of the science teacher web sites? I know last year when I was substitute teaching the student teacher had the kids making animal cells with candy. It was a great activity since it was hands on and got them to create their own cell in order to learn the parts. If I find anythng or think of anything I'll let you know (right now my creative juices are gone thanks to the kids I taught the last two days). Good luck and keep us posted on what you finally come up with.

What do want to do when you grow up? I'm afraid to really know the answer to that.

Well this may seem stupid or childish, that is because it is! lol I am in a VERY difficult Human Anatomy and Physiology class in higschool. In fact it is one of the hardest classes my school has to offer. Yet the teacher is awesome. So for christmas time he said to do this little project for a quiz grade. Much better than knowing 120 bones and 130 muscles!!

Anyways my final thing is..... odd. I took Ritz crackers and connected them in a hapazard patern with crisco! ewwww. The crackers represented platelets. THen I took crushed oreas and put a little dust on it to represent dirt. Then I took some red m&ms to represent the smaller red blood cells.

LIKE IT?!??!! lol

Go to a butcher and get cuts of meat. This is the muscle that runs up the spine. Here is a slice of liver. And this hot dog is everything else.
