Tomorrow is the last computer show of the year here in Jacksonville, And I can't think of anything to buy! There must be something to waste money on...
Shelly, how about one of those all in one printer/scanner things? Or MORE RAM!!! If you still can't find something to buy, you could always pay my rent for me

Do they have anything that you could attach to the case to brew coffee with on one side and to keep beer cold on the other? If so, then the only other thing that you'd need is a Homer Simpson "potty" chair - in case you haven't seen it , it's basically a recliner with a hole cut in the appropriate location.
Thats called a peltier cooler. As a biproduct of your chilled beer and steaming coffee you can soup up your cpu, really make it scream.

Just show up, Pick up some PCI Cards, games and Ram and package it up. Then the best part...Write Happy Holidays on the side and send something nice to ever PC911er!!
This is really a sad day for me Shelly. At some point everyone comes up with a revealing home truth that cannot be put aside. For you to admit you can't find anything to buy at a computer convention rocks my confidence in you. You are shaking the very roots of your calling, we expect that you, of all, would never be caught short without an ongoing want list that one could never complete...

There are other outfits that run shows in other parts of the country, California probably has the most shows. Do a search for computer shows in your favorite search engine.
Hey Shelly....Have you seen the CheapGuys section at the Jax shows before? I was fairly impressed at the last two Tampa shows. They had a great selection and the lowest prices on the floor. Unfortunately, they won't be at this Jax show. They received too many holiday orders to do the show AND get out the Christmas orders. I like vendors that know "First Things First"!
Back from the show. Was able to spend a bit, found a cool camera case for my digital camera and accessories by Targa. Show was mobbed with last minute Christmas shoppers. Darned procrastinators...I did all my shopping last weekend.

good deal. I knew that you would find something. When you go to a show like that you have to buy something. Its like an unwritten rule....go to an expo show "Buy Something."
even if you have to just resort to getting a coffe cup that says "I love my computer" or something like that you just have to get something.

But that can get expensive. I have an annual pass for any show in the country. I go at least once a month, maybe 20 shows a year. If I always have to buy...
