"Need help with Outlook 2010 32bit"
Sun Aug-26-12 09:56 PM by mowerman90

My daughter had her HDD go bad in her computer and I installed a new one with W7 and Office 2010. I'm having trouble setting up Outlook accounts. When I go to open Outlook it tells me that it can't connect to Exchange Server and a box pops up asking for MS Exchange server and the mailbox name. Is it asking for the pop server or the smtp server?
And does it want the email address name or my daughters actual name?

Edit:
Opps......I just realized what I did wrong. It's a Pop server account and I was trying to set it up as an Exchange server acct. My bad. I must be getting too old for this stuff.

My Computer:
Homebuilt
Windows 7 RTM 7600 Ult (64BIT) SP1
Antec Earthwatts 500W PS
Gigabyte 880GM-USB3
AMD FX4100 3.6 GH
8G Ram
Seagate 1 Terrabyte 32 cashe (Sys drive)
640 Gig WD Blk (Data & Backup Drive)
