Persistence can be a virtue or a curse. This certainly deserves an A for effort.I don't ever recall one with the same poster so many times in days gone by.I Spy is always ready to tell us his views on our screwed up and corupt goverment and must be frustrated by the frequent lack of response.I often read his posts but they get somewhat repetitive and the point is so belabored that ones eyes glaze over.
Pete,I admire your efforts and even agree with you on occasion but don't you have a hobby or two to get your mind off the evils of goverment? How many hours a day do you spend downloading all the things you post?
Have you ever made the mistake in researching the goverment and wound up at whitehouse.com

LOL, Do a search on goggle for spy1 and you will find a lot more forums where he has copy and pasted the identical comments. He is a spam artist.

<g> You'd be amazed at what a great life and family I have - and since Congress went home to get their re-election campaigns underway, I've been having a ball.

I try to keep developements for something I've already commented on all in the same thread (that's only logical, as well as providing a time-line and background for whatever the particular issue is).

It's like I say, guys - if you don't like 'em, don't read 'em.

But you're never going to be able to claim you weren't exhaustively warned beforehand about things that started developing in the past and that you could have had an impact on if only you weren't so busy blowing it off without examining it now and in the past.

That's your responsibility - carry it well. Pete

I'm happy for you.

Shelly - Just for general informational purposes, could you let us know how many times the thread in question ( http://www.pcqanda.com/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=4&topic_id=111276&mesg_id=111276&page= ) has been viewed?

You see, given the general level of intolerance and spite generally poured out on my threads here, I'm quite satisfied if people are simply reading the information and making up their minds to do something - or not - quietly, on their own. I don't blame them a bit for not posting to the threads themselves.

Not everyone can (or should have to) put up with the stuff that passes for "responses" here a lot of the time. I never let it bother me because I always consider the source.

And- oh, yeah - we can keep this up all day. I have nothing but time on my hands, remember?

Hi Pete,Just for the record I used to read the first of most of your posts.I then determine if more of the same subject will be of interest to me.Most of the time the intent of your message is obvious and I decide whether I wish to continue to follow the thread.
Your persistance on very predictable (by now)views of the present administration are becoming routine and even boring.I suspect you have reached the stage of "preaching to the choir".Perhaps even some of them have tired of the same repetetive song.
I am happy to hear you have "another"life and are not consumed by your political passion.

As do the intelligent few that read the first few lines. Still paranoid I see.

I read your posts whenever I get over this way, Pete, which is not all
that often. Thanks for posting. Many of your posts are "Wow, I didn't
know that!" And, as you know, I sometimes act on them and make a few
phone calls, etc.

Pete, I don't know anything about your family life so I have no reason to doubt your statement. My previous response to you was not in any way directed towards your personal life. I think what Newbie81 is saying (and my point as well) is if you have something to say and it doesn't garner a response, try saying it a different way instead of replying over and over to the same damn thread. The phrase "beating a dead horse" comes to mind. In so far as you keep responding to your own thread hoping that it will somehow gain attention, the more people keep ignoring the thread. Which I'm sure is the exact opposite effect you hoped for.

I don't agree with everything you post here but sometimes you do make comments that I think are interesting. That's good. But every once in a while if you change pace and present it in a different light, you just might get more responses.
