It just goes to show you how fragile our relationships are on this Forum. We should have a way to check up on each other and have some kind of contact info. I can't speak for everybody here but I care about a number of people that post here and would really care if something happened to them. Now with Noreen all we can do is imagine what could be wrong. It's not like her to be gone this long. Perhaps get an email "and" the email of a close friend or family member. Only seen by the Moderators.
To receive a PM you must visit the forum. It is an internal message service. Jason and Grogan have the e-mail addresses that were required to become a member. Those may not however be up to date. Noreen is charter member.
We require a valid e-maul address from anyone applying to become a member of the forum, but such addresses do tend to change over time, and we are rarely advised of such changes.
I can understand the desire of members not to publish their addresses in the forum, or even link to them. Perhaps offering all members a mail account on pcqanda.com, our private mail system, such as all the moderators do would be a way to handle the problem. I don't know if we could accommodate that many accounts on our server, even though they would probably only be used among members.

Okay, Jason emailed Noreen on May 25th...no answer...more than two weeks ago. We need to know where she lives...not her actual address...but the general area, maybe. Then if someone lives nearby they can check on her...
I beleieve somewhere in central London from things in some of her posts over the years. I don't know that she ever gave us her full name, which is not unusual with female members.
It's possible that Jason could have a better idea of her real name from donations she sent in during fundraisers.
I Think she is most likely ok. She was an older gal and had medical issues. She may be in some kind of assisted living arrangement for care and has no access to the internet. I try to look at the bright side.
I did some searching and came up with a Noreen Powell McCall on Facebook. If you magnify the photo it's not a million miles away from her sig photo. I'm not on Facebook so couldn't do much more. It's probably not her but it's surprising what you can come up with. http://www.facebook.com/noreenmc

I agree with you. She was so cool and open minded about all the things happening here. I feel she is not able to come around for one reason or another.
