Jack Bruce, bass guitarist supreme and one third of supergroup Cream died at home yesterday of liver disease.
After Cream and apart from about 20 solo albums (the last released in March this year) Bruce worked with many performers, including John McLaughlin, West Bruce and Laing, Lou Reed, Gary Moore, Robin Trower, Rory Gallagher and Ringo Starr's All-Starr Band.
