Has anyone managed to remove this message that appears in Chrome and Chromium based browsers? I have tried many of the suggested ones found by googling but none have worked. My PC is managed by me and no-one else. https://imgbb.com/>

Thanks KJT. I just use Windows Defender and can't find anything equivalent to the Avast settings. Yes, it does look benign. I think it was brought into Chrome fairly recently as a feature. It would been better if they had named it something more helpful. It's probably best to leave it as it is. It's just so annoying when this sort of thing creeps in. There are hundreds of places that give ways to get rid of it but nowhere I can find gives a full authorititive description of it.

I do have Vivaldi and use it now and again along with Chrome, Edge and Firefox. But my main browser is Cent which lets me have all the functions I like. Each of the others have some of the functions but only Cent has them all.

That is odd. The main option that keeps me staying with Cent is when I move the cursor to the left edge all the bookmarks pop out. Then when I left-click a bookmark it opens in a new tab and the popup disappears. Another is the built-in mouse gestures although I only set one to swipe right to close a tab.
Thanks for chatting up cent. I just last week started the process of moving my brain from firefox to chrome. The latest chrome is a joke to me, but cent is apparently based on an older version when stuff still worked I guess. Anyhow, great browser so far, what chrome should be.
